Additional Learning Opportunity: Teach your students about journalism!

You're entitled to have one or more students "report" on how your field trip went. As an added feature of the program, your student(s) may write a "news article" about the class's experience and what they learned. The Vermont Standard will publish their articles in the paper to let the community know about the wonderful experiences that are provided to our students.

How It Works

Step 1

Complete the online application at least 15 days before your planned field trip

Step 2

Receive email confirmation of approval or denial within two weeks

Step 3

Transportation funding is provided upon approval

Step 4

Submit post-trip article and feedback within 30 days of field trip completion
