What schools are eligible for transportation funding?

All K-12 public schools in the Mountain Views, White River Valley, and Windsor Southeast Supervisory Unions, and the Hartford Supervisory District are eligible to apply for transportation grants.

How much funding can schools receive?

In their applications, teachers submit the estimated transportation cost for the field trip they'd like to take with their class — typically, bus charges range $200-$700.

How far in advance should schools apply?

Applications must be submitted at least 15 days prior to the planned field trip date.

What destinations are approved for funding?

We partner with many educational and cultural institutions. A complete list of approved destinations is available on our “Venues” page on this website. Teachers may also request other venues, subject to approval.
